See my work at the Bridgnorth Open House Arts Trail (10/11 June)
The countdown to the 2023 Bridgnorth Open House Arts Trail has begun! On Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th June, more than 30 venues in Bridgnorth will open their doors and invite visitors to view an eclectic mix of creative work by local and visiting artists. There will be 76 creative folk exhibiting their work within the homes and businesses of our generous hosts, which will include jewellery, paintings and sculpture. A £6 ticket will give you access to view a broad selection of arts and crafts, and the opportunity to meet us artists face to face.
In previous years I've had the great pleasure of exhibiting at the Love Your Blinds shop but, since they have now moved out of Bridgnorth town centre, I have a new host in a super venue. You'll find me and my work at Stonehead House, 2 Castle Hill Terrace, where I'll be ready to meet familiar and new faces alongside fellow artist Caroline Glanville and our generous host Sarah. Sarah's charming period house is tucked away at the top of Cartway, across the way from Alleykatz toyshop. We have the luxury of a spacious conservatory in which to display our art and it's worth a visit if only to take in the glorious views from the courtyard and rest your legs for a while.
Throughout the weekend you'll have the opportunity to buy artists' work. This year is a special year for me, as I'll be retiring in September and spending a little less time painting. In celebration of this milestone, I'll be pricing my work well below its typical gallery price and some pieces will be drastically reduced, so why not stop by and snap up a bargain. See you soon!
